This includes the Parishes and towns and villages of Newlyn, Mousehole, Paul, Lamorna, Newbridge, Sancreed, St Buryan, Treen, St Levan, Polgigga and Trevescan before reaching the Lands End Hotel.

ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR:
Devon and Cornwall Police and Cornwall Council and partner agencies are actively involved in tackling anti social behaviour and it is a priority for all of our staff. Reporting incidents of anti social behaviour may prevent problems happening and will help to make your neighbourhood a safer place.
Anti social behaviour includes a wide range of unacceptable activities such as vandalism,graffiti,speeding,littering,dog fouling,nuisance neighbours and intimidating groups taking over public places in our communities.

A new project run by ex forces instructors called Activeplus has been started up on Gwavas Estate for the over 50's. The project has been a success and is looking to expand into other areas. We have a Farmwatch scheme in the Rural West area to deter rural crime and offer crime prevention advice to farms and small holdings.If you are interested please contact the Rural West team using the 'contact' box or call 01736 356222.
We also run a Boatwatch scheme for looking after the security of boats in our area. Please contact us if your interested on 01736 356222.
We are also closely working with the Ymca and the Three villages Youth Project (3VYP) in engaging with the youngsters and bringing sports and educational issues to our area. A recent project we undertook was an anti racism and graffiti project at The Centre in Newlyn. We are looking at starting a project with the local schools and other agencies in the near future focusing on underage drinking in our community.
We are also working with Cornwall Neighbourhood For Change (CN4C) at Gwavas Estate with various projects.
The Community Action Hub (CAH) is the new name for the Gwavas residents association its the same venue as before. Why dont you pop in and have a look and do your bit for your community.
The CommunityAction Hub (CAH) and residents of Gwavas recently collected items to send to servicemen and women serving overseas. An evening was spent packing the items with the charity Support our soldiers and Gwavas residents. We then delivered the 40 boxes to the Post Office for delivery.We are looking to assist the Gwavas Residents Association and local residents again in Supporting our Soldiers so if you want to help please contact us.
A Police Surgery held with Devon and Cornwall Housing (DCH) will be held informaly at the Community Act Hub (CAH) room from midday on Tuesdays in the month. Please see the meetings link for dates. Sennen Farmers market: Tuesday mornings
Paul Market: Wednesday mornings
St Buryan market: Every 2nd and 4th Saturday morning
