I loved life in Birch ave because neighbours helped me find a used car, a doctor, find a playgroup for my son, trusted me enough to give me their child in pram to care for five days while they were on vacation, asked me if I wanted Police help when my pregnant wife went shopping to Glasgow by car on a winter day when snow started to fall, local ladies discovered that European way of knitting way different from British and started inviting my wife to teach them, etc, etc.
