This well-established company manufacture specialist components for the Aerospace industry. Due to company growth they are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to complement their highly skilled team.

In this role you will be required to carry out the maintenance, service and repair of equipment across the whole site working on a range of machine Tools and automated production machinery. You will work double days Monday to Thursday 7am - 15:30pm and on a Friday 7am - 12pm. The following week you will work Monday to Thursday 3:30pm - 12am and on a Friday 12pm to 5pm.

This role would therefore ideally suit a Mechanical Engineer with good experience of working on pneumatics and hydraulics and is looking to move into the manufacturing sector. In return you will enjoy a stable role with a company that are well known to look after their staff.

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Manager M & E (or someone with a strong Building/Construction basis with a good understanding of building services) to join a major FM company operating within the MoD sector. You will be the single point of contact for both the Head of Establishment and the client for all estate related matters on site. Supervising maintenance and low value injected works delivery upto £15k as well as monitoring supply chain operatives in the performance of their duties to recognised standards of productivity and quality and compliance with essential Health and Safety provisions.
Technical Responsibilities
·Oversee the compliant, effective and timely delivery of statutory, mandatory and reactive maintenance and injected works and ensure completion within required timeframe
·Monitor supply chain performance, service delivery, value for money (VFM), quality and safe working on site
·Ensure suitably qualified and experienced operatives are directed to relevant tasks

Role Specific information:
·The role is to be based at RNAS Yeovilton.
·A key aspect of the role liaison with the Military and on site Contractors. This will require excellent customer care/service skills, the utmost professionalism, tact, diplomacy and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
·The candidate is expected to hold a wide breadth of FM experience and will deliver M & E and B&CE Hard FM and Response Maintenance work as well as deliver Additional Works for both sites. Therefore, candidates must hold a M & E or a B & C E qualification.
·For the RNAS Yeovilton site, the post holder will be required to focus on very specific areas of work due to the nature and size of the site being supported e.g. may be very specific aspects of the work such as, for example, having responsibility for BFI’s and Petroleum and would cover all Hard FM and Response Maintenance for that area of work.
·Both sites turn over significant number of under 15k Additional Works. These are often high volume, low complexity tasks. The candidate must expect to have numerous tasks running simultaneously. You must have the ability to scope works and have a very good understanding of Excel to produce key information
·The ability to travel between a number of sites both in the Devon and Somerset area (across the Service Delivery Area (SDA 31) is essential, an excellent mileage rate is payable
