I remember there used to be a small beach with a row of beach huts. This was when I was still at primary school. It was past the dips and the Sharks Teeth houses by a little beach.
I looked at google maps and can't see any. I'm sure there were some there.
I remember going down to the sea wall on the promenade when the sea was rough and getting absolutely drenched when a wave broke over them.
My Dad used to let me get out of the car on one side of the dips and I'd run across to the other side while he would drive around to pick me up.
