I have in my possession a letter written to my aunt from Rutland House, Hose in December 1953. The writer may be a distant relative and so I am wondering who was living at Rutland House in 1953. They may have had some connection with Brunt's Farm at Long Clawson. I should be interested in any information you might have.

Before 1930 Rutland House was home to the Mantle's
In 1930 it was bought by local farmer and Baptist Mr. Charles Walter Hourd.
When he died aged 68 in 1941 it was left in trust to his wife Annie who passed away in 1961 aged 85.
