Our world-famous, Milton Keynes-based client are seeking a Wood Mill Operative to join their successful production team.

An excellent opportunity for a self-motivated and mechanically-minded Production Operative to expand their skillset, the Wood Mill Operator will be responsible for operating CNC machines, saws, presses, spindle-moulding equipment, hand tools, sanders, and preparing wood for the production process.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a dedicated Production Operative with a good general understanding of manufacturing. Capable of working to technical drawings and plans, you will need to be confident using power tools within a professional environment. A years' experience within a woodmill or similar environment would be the perfect background for the role.

The salary for this role is calculated on a 36 hour working week. For the first 13 weeks, this is based on £9.20 per hour, and will rise to £9.92 per hour upon successful completion of the probationary period.

Required skills and experience:
• Must be experienced and competent in MIG welding in a production environment.
• TIG welding and previous experience of Aluminium Welding in a production environment would be an advantage.
• Previous experience of assembling and welding components for the automotive industry or similar.
• Welds must be neat and tidy.
• An interview will include a weld-test for MIG (TIG if experienced).

Desirable:

FCC Environment, part of the FCC Group, have a requirement for a Leachate Treatment Plant Supervisor (LTP Supervisor) to take responsibility for the operation, monitoring and routine maintenance at Wastewater (specifically landfill leachate) treatment plants at Calvert, Bletchley, Stewartby, Buckden, Dogsthorpe and Wraysbury.

Plant Supervisor Responsibilities

To understand and implement the company SHEQ policy
Operate biological treatment, ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis based wastewater treatment plants, including the operation of PC based software control  and monitoring systems.
Undertake routine laboratory testing of inputs and outputs from the facilities
Routine monitoring of process plant (pumps, mixers etc.) and the treatment site as a whole to ensure safety and compliance with operating permits
Routine maintenance including cleaning, lubrication, pump and valve replacements
To keep and maintain records of operations, maintenance and monitoringQualifications and Experience

HNC or degree qualified in science or engineering discipline, OR experience of process plant control and operation
A practical, hands on approach, with knowledge of pumps, mixers, aerators or similar equipment
Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques, biological treatment and / or ultrafiltration or reverse osmosis
The ability to collate and interpret data and write reports

The role of the Injection Moulding Shift Leader / Shift Setter Supervisor will be to oversee the running of the Company’s manufacturing facilities on a shift basis, to ensure that the Company’s facilities and equipment are maintained and operated in a safe and efficient manner, to assign tasks to direct reports and to oversee a team of Injection Moulding Operators in the manufacturing area.

As an Injection Moulding Shift Team Leader, you must have several years experienced with Injection mould Setting, conditioning, maintenance and process optimisation of injection moulding machines working with a wide range of mould / plastic materials. You will be responsible for all aspects of tool changing in the injection moulding department, be responsible for all aspects of process control and ensuring that the quality of product is achieved to the standards required.

This is an excellent & rewarding post for either an enthusiastic Shift Team Leader or Mould Team Leader or Mould Manager or Shift Leader or Setter Supervisor who wishes to work with like-minded professionals and a company that places their people at the forefront of the company.
