Due to expansion and continued growth, a world leader in the design
and manufacture of a niche product are looking for an experienced
Quality Inspector to supervise a team of 3 other inspectors with the
support of the Factory Manager.

Duties:
• Usage of a various manual measuring equipment and gauges
• Visual inspection
• First offs, In-Process and last off checks
• Measurement of various component parts plastic / brass
• Maintaining a high standard of output in line with production
demands
• Supervising a team of 3 Quality Inspectors
- Dealing with appraisals
- Holiday bookings
- Sickness records
• To keep the working environment in a clean and safe working
condition
• Comply with all current work instructions within the organisation
• Comply fully with all current health, safety & environmental
regulations in operation within the company whilst carrying out your
duties
• Carry out any reasonable task which falls within your capabilities

Working Environment:

As the successful Quality Inspector you will experience working in a

Are you looking for a new and dynamic role in Control & Automation?

DRNewitt present this rare and unique opportunity to join one of our
established clients full time in the Control & Automation Technician
team. (Working hours are 4 on 4 of DAYS + On call rota)

The main purpose of the role is to maintain and manage all control &
automation systems including software and hardware throughout site to
achieve engineering objectives whilst supporting the Maintenance,
Project and Site Engineering teams

Principal Responsibilities:

* To improve machines and processes to increase equipment H&S
effectiveness

* Support shift engineers in fault diagnosis and rectification of
control system faults & failures

* Assist in the design, implementation of control systems for new
processes & equipment

* Support and optimise existing control systems in line with
continuous improvement activities

* To identify training needs of Shift Engineers

Requirements:

* Ideally served an indentured craft apprenticeship

* At least 5 years working in a maintenance/engineering department

* Desirable – Have an appreciation of a High Care manufacturing
standard

* Desirable – Educated to HNC, NVQ3 or equivalent in an Electrical
Competence

* Ability to fault-find & repair PLC/ automation systems

* Experience in the use, repair & diagnostics of PLCs, HMI, servos
and drives. Ideally, Allen Bradley and Schneider

* Ideally previous experience in the food and bakery industry

* Full driving licence required
