Retrogenix’s current client base is international, spanning North America, and Europe, Middle East, Australasia, and the Far East. The latter is a rapidly emerging market for Retrogenix. In order to continue to grow quickly, we are creating an exciting position for a Global Business Development Associate with a focus on Europe, Middle East, Australasia and the Far East (EAFE), to work within our sales and business development team. Based at our new UK Peak District headquarters, this role will provide opportunities for travel to/from client sites and conferences in the EAFE region.

Main Purpose of the Role:

To identify and deliver new sales opportunities, with a focus on Europe, Israel, Australasia, and the Far East.

Key activities and requirements in the Role:

* Using multiple approaches and platforms, identify new potential client leads, to fit in with current sales strategies, as defined by the company directors and/or territory business development manager(s). This role will focus on Europe, Israel, Australasia and Far East (including South Korea, Japan and China).

* Establish dialogue with the above leads using email and verbal communication, generate and gauge interest by selling and ascertaining how Retrogenix can add value to their business.

* Progress new leads by arranging tele/video conferences, face-to-face meetings and visit programs with potential clients. The role holder may be expected to take part in visit programs, along with the territory Business Development Manager(s). International travel may, therefore, be required.

* Promote international business by attending, exhibiting and representing Retrogenix at relevant conferences and meetings.

* Adhere closely to, and if necessary, manage the company-wide CRM system, and maintain accurate records of all communications and activities.

* Follow-up with clients on client feedback, if any issues raised following projects.

* Work closely and effectively with the territory Business Development Manager(s), company directors, and the wider sales/business development team.

* Deliver accurate lead generation metrics to business development manager(s) and/or senior leadership team.

* Maintain strict confidentiality regarding Retrogenix’s intellectual property/know-how.

* Must be a highly-motivated, pro-active, confident self-starter.

Essential Experience, Knowledge and Track Record

Must have:

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

* Excellent organisational skills.

* Track record of consistently achieving or over-achieving targets.

* Ability to ask the right questions, and sell appropriate, clear well-argued solutions.

* A sufficient understanding of the drug discovery process (especially biologics) and biological/medical science to be able to hold appropriate credible scientific and business discussions with drug discovery and academic clients at all levels.

* Demonstrated competence in using a wide range of IT platforms.

* A good degree level qualification in a biological science.

It would be advantageous to have:

* Experience of working within the pharma/biotech industry

Bodyshop ATA Paint Technician REQUIRED in High Peak, Whaley Bridge

Our clients, a large, Group of Accident Repair Centres are currently looking for an ATA Paint Sprayer for their High Peak site.

A salary of between £25K to £60K plus benefits is offered for this role.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:30 pm (Minimum 40 hours per week).

Key Task

Objective: Accurately and skilfully undertake the paint repair of motor vehicles

Carry out all repairs according to best practice procedures.
Meeting acceptable safety and quality standards
Interpret and implement technical instruction data
Use all paint mixing schemes and drying areas/equipment accurately for all paint repairs
Seek clarification from the Bodyshop Manager or Bodyshop Administrator if a work order is not clear or seems incorrect.

Objective: Fulfil all tasks to the Bodyshop and Customer’s complete satisfaction

Complete assigned jobs within the estimated repair/paint times
Safeguard the customer’s vehicle and its contents while in the workshop
Ensure that all vehicles comply with safety standards when returned to customers

Objective: Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repair

Observe, recognise and report on vehicle paintwork
Report on any faults or defects detected while working on the vehicle
Report any additional damage found when preparing the vehicle directly to the Estimator or Manager

Objective: Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with Bodyshop, Manufacturer and Industry guidelines

Report accurately and correctly all components, materials, consumables and hours used on each vehicle repair, keeping wastage of all materials and consumables to the minimum.
Keep work area clean, tidy and free from hazards and ensure the oven is cleaned before vacating
Ensure all health and safety, environmental and recycling policies, plus all internal policies and procedures are adhered to, focusing on customer needs and building upon the professional reputation of the bodyshop, reporting any concerns to the Bodyshop Manager or to the Health and Safety Officer
Check the condition and ensure the correct maintenance of tools, equipment and other materials in accordance with company policy
Undertake all other tasks and activities as requested by the Bodyshop Manager
Ensure all policies and practices are followed adhering to the Bodyshop standards to build upon the professional reputation
