Specialising in the manufacture of wound components, printed-circuit board assemblies, cabinet wiring and electronic test equipment for the civil aircraft, space, and defence industries this is a highly successful and growing organisation. Much of their output is built to customer-defined specification but there is often a requirement for assistance in resolving design shortcomings and resolving obsolescence issues. Additionally, they deal with projects in which they design the entire equipment in response to a basic requirement specification. About The Job…

The Design Input is a set of requirements (technical, commercial, and statutory). The Engineers output is a set of manufacturing documentation (Parts Lists, Piece-part Drawings, Assembly Drawings, Test Specifications, Printed-Circuit Board artworks [which may be in electronic for as a set of files] etc.). The Engineer is responsible for authorising any of the above documentation, when generated by Design.

Electronic design:

* Analogue (low frequency, but precision instrumentation circuitry) and digital circuit design, analysis and development

* Thermal management for power circuitry

* Printed circuit board layout (single, double-sided and multilayer)

Test Equipment Design:

* Technical knowledge of Test Systems hardware and software including National Instruments & Pickering Instruments Products

* Knowledge of and ability to select appropriate design techniques and solutions for test equipment applications

* Raychem Harnware Cable Design experience is desirable but training can be provided

The right person…

* Some appreciation of metalworking processes and materials used in electronic industry would be useful

* Understanding and application of user safety standards and other statutory requirements

* Working with the NBO team to deliver the new product on time, quality and cost

* Assessing plant, test equipment tooling, drawings, permits and extra services

* Ideally Degree qualified in relevant subject

* Broad level of experience

As an experienced Assistant Site Manager you will take responsibility for:

* Assisting the Site Manager with Site health and safety

* Assist with the management of sub-contractors, direct staff and labour in the Site Managers absence

The Works Coordinator role is to assist with the efficient and effective running of the Home2Home maintenance team, ensuring the smooth progression of all work tickets, through booking appointments with customers and scheduling works.

1. To organise appointments and manage work diaries for all areas of Home2Home operations in an efficient and effective manner to achieve target dates, considering skill set, duration of work and location. Track progress of outstanding works orders and ensure issues are documented within our repairs database
