Summary

Responsible for making sure that machinery and equipment runs efficiently by carrying out routine maintenance, diagnosing and repairing faults. You will also be required to manufacture items that will help you with machine maintenance.

Responsibilities

Carry out installation repairs and planned preventative maintenance on engineering plant and equipment.
Adhere to the Departments Permit to Work and Safe Systems of Work procedures.
Assemble, manufacture and repair hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Train and instruct other trades including apprentices.
