Candidates should have an engineering background with experience of stock management and control. You are

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a Quality and/or Environment, Health and Safety role within a food manufacturing environment. Dairy knowledge would be preferred but not essential. You must have a strong knowledge of Chemistry and Microbiology with an in-depth understanding of FSSC, customer standards and audit requirements. A high skills level across leadership, problem solving and project management is essential along with the ability to think on your feet and make decisions. Good IT skills are required with knowledge of SAP as an advantage.

You will be responsible for the performance and maintenance of the Ingredients Equipment. It is your goal to ensure that the equipment performance is at capacity and stable. Ensuring maintenance tasks are completed and delivering food safety, quality and a safe place to work. To achieve this, your natural focus is on pre-planned maintenance and you are driving continuous improvement initiatives, using all the experience and knowledge present in the team.

Engaging with Operators and Team Leaders to actively contribute to the Ingredients OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency). Importantly you also complete risk assessments and standard maintenance procedures to ensure that we are always up to date, which will keep our quality, safety, hygiene and housekeeping.

…by ensuring that our products can be accurately delivered to our customers on time. As a Production Operative you will be part of a high-performance team both delivering and supporting other functions to meet challenging team and personal goals. You will primarily be involved with:

* Working to high food quality and hygiene standards for producing Whey Protein Concentrate (WPC) and permeate powder.
* Operating, monitoring and cleaning highly automated processing equipment – membranes, evaporators & dryer.
* Operating, monitoring and dry cleaning automated packaging equipment – 25 kg & 1 tonne.
* Checking quality of liquid and powder products during production and dispatch.
* Fork lift driving and labelling of finished products.
* Giving input to continuous improvements, to support our LEAN focused business.
* Filling in documentation for food safety and traceability.
* Maintaining strict food hygiene and health and safety standards in the department.
