based in Paignton. The successful candidate will be responsible for
developing and maintaining internal ISO9001 standards, as well as
coordinating all quality, safety and environmental activity on site in
line with the requirements of the business.

Key Aims/Responsibilities:

* Working in conjunction with Senior Management for the continuous
improvement of the Factory and Sites SHEQ management programme and
systems.

* Advises line management and assists with the implementation of new
or existing SHEQ-related legislation, rules and Company standards
to include fire prevention, health and safety awareness training,
etc

* To complete prevention inspections on a regular basis and ensure
records maintained of same.

* To investigate accidents and ensure all documentation is updated.

* To develop a monthly SHEQ Communication Strategy for the site and
levels of staff, to include written information, tool box talks
and management briefs.

* Management of internal audits and surveys.

* Full responsibility for Company preparations for external Quality
Audits.

* To assist in retaining all current quality accreditations.

* Provides support and expertise to line management in incident
investigation and reporting (including dangerous occurrences).

* Produces and coordinates the yearly SHEQ action plan and longer
term SHEQ roadmap, prepares reports for monthly update of same to
Group Management Meetings.

Essential Experience, Knowledge & Experience Required:

* Experience gained from within the Manufacturing Industry in a
similar role (ISO 9001 Implementation / H&S Coordinator).

* A full understanding of relevant UK Health, Safety & Environmental
legislation
