Our client, Coty Bournemouth, are looking for a Credit Controller to join the Accounts Receivable team who manage credit risk and invoice payments. The team are responsible for payment targets such as DSO, Payscore, Risk Money and compliance with internal controls and Audit requirements.

Key day to day responsibilities include but are not restricted to:

* Own the collection process for a number of UK customer accounts
* Managing the ledger action plan for customers > 15 days and > 30 days overdue
* Managing credit card payments over the phone
* Outgoing calls to chase customers for overdue payment.
* Query management, liaise with Customers, customer service and sales
* Manage customer during process
* Cash payment and account reconciliation
* Internal control checks
* Chase customers for Remittance advice's
* Own & manage customer deductions
* Issue copy invoices
* Own Payscore, DSO and Risk Money for your customers.

Every day will be different. We ask for someone who can handle business pressure and changing circumstances.

Attention to detail and having clear action plans is important for this role as the Credit Controller will be responsible for maintaining their ledger scores, whilst managing their postings, statements and dunning runs. Hitting daily cycle timings is essential in Accounts Receivable to ensure orders flow smoothly and customers are provided with excellent customer service.

The Credit Controller manages large ledgers and will have to make decisions throughout the day around risk and the release of new orders. This is a fast paced business which will require the Credit Controller to balance data and customer knowledge and make sensible decisions quickly.

You must have excellent communication skills and be able to work with a diverse range of both internal and external partners including Sales, Masterdata, Customer Services and Finance. The team have extensive contact with customers and often have to discuss sensitive issues around payment. A demonstrated affinity for dealing with customers and credit control experience is essential.

Solid PC literacy is required and experience with SAP is a plus.
