Training Development Manager – Kemble – Up to £45,000 + Benefits
A leading Aircraft Maintenance Training school are currently seeking a skilled Training Development Manager to join their diverse and growing team in Kemble, Gloucestershire and take responsibility for all aspects of the training and development function for both internal and external clients.

The Role

As the Training Development Manager, your duties will include, but won’t be limited to:

- Managing the day-to-day operation of the training and development function – analysing, scheduling, planning and delivering resources for the implementation of training projects
- Managing and delivering training development services for clients, driving an innovative approach to technology-enhanced learning and applying experience and knowledge of method and media analysis
- Maintaining and managing effective controls, such as version control, quality control standards and the compliance with any other industry related or statutory regulation 
- Managing costs within budgetary requirements, targeting cost reductions and improving profitability wherever possible
- Managing and developing instructional developers, deploying effective people management strategies to inspire and motivate the individual and the team, enabling them to achieve their full potential
- Identifying additional business opportunities through the training development function

About You

The suitable candidate will have significant experience in training development, technical authoring or instructional design, ideally at a management level. It is desirable that you have experience of project management and learning design systems.  Although it is not mandatory, previous experience of working within the avionics / aerospace industry is highly beneficial.
