My client offers residential support to 4 adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs however the service is split into 4 flats, each with their own bedroom, bathroom, kitchen to encourage independence - however the building also has communal facilities so service users to eat together, watch television, cook together should they wish to.

My client is looking for MALE support workers who are trustworthy, passionate, and have excellent interpersonal skills to support their clients and help them achieve independence. It is a genuine occupational requirement that my client recruits MALE only support staff due to the nature of the clients within the service and the potential risks involved outlined in their support plans. You will support the service users with daily living skills, personal care, social and leisure activities, supporting them emotionally and enabling them to establish relationships. You must have experience of supporting people with learning disabilities and complex needs and ideally have your Level 2 qualification in health and social care - however if you dont they will put you through it after sucessful completion of your 6 month probation review. The role is 37.50hours per week and shifts will be on a rollng rota so you will know your shifts way in advance. Shifts vary from a 7.30am start time to a 21:45pm finish, the role also includes sleep ins which are paid at £64.80 per sleep. There is loan working involved in this role but full training will be given. CAR DRIVER ESSENIAL.

Duties of a Chemical Process Operator:
• Operate processes in full accordance with SOP’s
• Understand the basic operation and expected performance of equipment used, carrying out fit for purpose checks and ensuring good maintenance standards
• Accurately record all processing records and stock movements onto the SAP and WMS systems.
• Report any irregularities with stock levels
• Actively participates in continuous improvements
• Carry out duties to comply with IPPC, COMAH and other regulatory obligations
• To operate and maintain equipment in a safe and correct manner
• To handle materials correctly as specified in MSDS
• Completes relevant area audits and checklists in accordance with specified schedule
As a Chemical Process Operator you must have the following:
• CGLi level 2 Process Operators qualification (or equivalent)
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Basic computer literacy
• Relevant FLT license
• Previous experience within a Chemical processing environment highly advantageous
The ideal person must be:
• Willing and able to work 12 hour shifts both days and nights
• Willing to accept short notice change to the shift rota on occasions
• Prepared to work flexible hours to cover weekends and absences
• Able to carry out manual work including lifting of 25kg bags
