This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established food manufacturer who boast very low staff turnover as a result of their excellent treatment of staff. The company are investing heavily and have grown their headcount significantly in the last 12 months.

The successful Maintenance Engineer will be mechanically biased and from ANY manufacturing background. Candidates with experience of working in food/FMCG are encouraged to apply though this is not essential. You will have experience working on pneumatics, belts, motors, conveyor systems, gearboxes, and bearings. Previous experience maintaining steam and or condensate systems is highly desirable but not essential. Electrical experience is useful though by no means essential, as the role is predominantly mechanical.

The role itself is mechanically biased, split roughly 80% to 20%. You will work as part of an engineering team of 5 and you will be required to take care of all maintenance on site, including production machinery and facilities. The majority of your time on shift will be spent undertaking planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance. You will be working on pneumatics, belts, motors, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, pipework, transmissions, steam plant.

The company are a successful food manufacturer, who produce well known products for leading brands. There has been significant investment on site and the company are able to offer long term stability and a friendly working environment.

The Role:

* 80% Mechanical 20% Electrical
* 60% PPMs 40% Reactive
* Maintenance of production machinery and general facilities maintenance

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Dolgellau, North Wales

You will be working for a leading food processing company who are looking to bolster their engineering team, you will have proven PPM skills, organised and methodical, capable of being flexible regarding tasks and hours worked.

You will be:

* Responsible for maintenance for all site plant, machinery and buildings in line with required standards
* Ensure that all breakdowns/repairs relating to plant and equipment are repaired swiftly and effectively to minimise production downtime. Advise Engineering and Production Team Leader of any shortcomings with the equipment after the work has been completed.
* Provide practical solutions to improve the safety and effectiveness of machinery to maximise production efficiency.
* Identify potential continuous improvements with regards to process equipment and highlight them to the Engineering Manager and Self Managed Teams.
* Full compliance with Health and Safety regulations and site rules
* possess excellent communication skills, as they will be communicating with the Lead Engineer, Team Leaders, Production Operatives

You will be required to have experience working within a FMCG is crucial, food manufacturing experience would be a bonus, looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer who is used to working in fast paced environment, as you will be reactive to on site demands to reduce downtime.
