I am currently working with a well-established business in the water industry who are looking for a junior Quantity Surveyor with previous Construction/Utilities experience to join and grow within their company.

Your day-to-day responsibility includes assisting the project managers with the management of the profitability, commercial relationships and commercial matters with the client or subcontractors. You will be checking the costing of contracts ensuring they are within budget, dealing with disputes, outline budgets and checking the P&L for each project.

You will get hands on experience and grow within this role and will be taken on site to learn and grow as a Surveyor.

Key Accountabilities

Ensuring that jobs are applied for in a timely and accurate manner
Managing and securing payment for contract variations and contractual claims
