We currently have a number of fantastic opportunities for outstanding Shift Managers with experience of delivering operational requirements within industrial environments to join our Company working in Adlington.

Musk Process Services (Musk) are a highly respected provider of engineering solutions to the manufacturing and process industries. The Role:

As a Shift Manager you will be looking after one of the 4 shifts – 3 tradesmen per shift (both electrical and mechanical), you will be the first point of contact from production for reactive work. You will need to prioritise work with Production Managers, manage H&S, procure spares and 3rd party services if required and ensure work is completed timely, safely and to a high engineering standard. You will also need to be willing to work with your shift team on the tools.

Working hours: 4 days on (working 06.00 to 18.00) / 4 days off / 4 nights on (working from 18.00 to 06.00) / 4 days off.

A flexible approach to work is required due to the site demands (some overtime may be required).

Skills / Experience Required:

As one of our new Shift Managers you must demonstrate previous Supervisory experience in a similar role, come from within an industrial engineering environment and have the ability to:

* Manage on a full-time basis with the responsibility for delivering operational requirements with minimal management support

* Understand, use and implement all business tools and processes required to perform role.

* Order materials

* Perform counselling

* Disciplinary overview and conduct

* Perform Health & Safety auditing

* Complete Risk Assessments and Method Statements

* Complete small incident/accident investigations and propose corrective actions

* Compile KPI data

* Be the first point of contact for Client interface

* To take Health & Safety responsibility for all Musk personnel within the shift team.

* To support your shift in the completion of engineering activities, both from a Managerial and hands on perspective

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
