Ginger Recruitment is working with a leading manufacturing company, based at their Bacup site. They are now looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their small Finance team to provide accounting support to the Finance Manager.

Role
As Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for the following:
- Maintenance of purchase ledger, sales ledger and cash book
- Process payments via BACS and / or cheque
- Bank reconciliations
- Process staff expenses

Candidate
You will have significant experience of both Purchase and Sales Ledger. An accounting qualification will be highly regarded. Good system knowledge and advanced experience with Excel is essential. This is a hands on role where you will be required to be adaptable; the ability to work in a team is important.

This is a great opportunity for a motivated Accounts Assistant to join a well-established business where your skills and experience will be highly valued. Whilst initially a 6 month contract, there may be the opportunity for permanency for the right candidate.

This particular home is an all girls home. All the girls have either been subjected to Child Sexual Exploitation or have early life chronic trauma or post-tramatic stress.The home is committed to providing the highest standards of therapeutic care to the girls in care.
This Children's residential senior support worker role is a fantastic position working 37.5 hours a week in a new home. The shift pattens tend to be 2 on 4 off (depending on the children in care). The major benefit is that there is roughly 8 sleep-ins a month and the sleep-ins are paid hourly so you would be looking at around minimum £26,000 with sleep-ins as an annual salary.
