Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Why ROQ

The role

You will be responsible for owning automation within a project and will be fully embedded into an Agile team, with additional Software Development Engineers in Test (SDET’s).

Supported by an Automation Architect your role will be fully hands on, as you will be enabling new approaches to automation, including open source frameworks using JAVA and will be responsible for creating automated test scripts to test a range of components. Therefore you will ideally have experience of using JAVA and of automating either GUI, API, Web, Mobile or Windows based projects.

In addition, ROQ’s SDET’s are encouraged to support client growth, so previous commercial SDET experience is required to enable you to look at solutions and suggest innovative ideas and new, improved ways of working.

* Strong analytical skills

* Awareness of a range test automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber etc

One of the many paths you could take in ROQ is Automation, where you can learn about how to code, script and automate test cases. You will be scripting automated test cases using object-oriented programming languages such as Java and C# alongside a variety of automation tools.

Responsibilities of the Retail Security Officer:

* Ensure the safety and security of staff and customers within working environment
