A fantastic opportunity to develop this new role in the organisation, implementing and operating a new iTrent payroll system. This stand-alone role, working alongside the HR Department, will give the opportunity to establish the effective procedures and have your own responsibilities.

You will need previous experience of running a Payroll from start to finish as in this role you will be running the end to end payroll process for the business.

Working on a full time basis, Monday to Friday, in a modern office environment in Barwell, Leicestershire.

Salary negotiated based on experience (range £25,000 to £30,000)

The Role and your Responsibilities:

* A stand-alone role supporting the HR Department and running monthly payroll

* Processing a payroll for 900+ employees, with varying Ts&Cs

* Processing new starters, leavers and any contractual changes

* Providing and communicating financial information to Directors

* All Statutory payment such SSP, SMP, SPP & SAP

* Enforcing established payroll and pension related policies, procedures and regulations

* Demonstrating a clear understanding of payroll processes and being confident to assist with implementation of our new payroll system

* Taxable benefits administration i.e., company's life insurance and income protection, and P11Ds

* Maintaining accurate payroll records and employee files.

Experience sought:

* An ability to process payroll from start to finish Payroll knowledge (Tax & NI)
* An ability to deliver payroll in a timely and accurate manner
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Competent user of Excel & Word
* Experience of using iTrent or a similar computerised Payroll system
