gap personnel operating as an employment business are recruiting for
Warehouse/FLT Operatives for our client based in Henstridge. This is a
6 month temporary contract running from August 2018 to January 2019.

The role will involve:

* For FLT license holders, the role will be 10% FLT driving and the
rest will be in the warehouse packing

* For non FLT license holders this will be general picking and
packing in the warehouse

* A lot of heavy lifting and manual labour

* Working in a dusty and dirty environment

If working an 8 hour shift, the worker will recieve one half an hour,
paid break. If working a 12 hour shift, the worker will recieve an
hour, paid break.

The ideal candidate must have:

* A willingness to work

* Proactive mindset

* FLT license desirable

* Must be physically fit

* Have own transport due to location

* Be available for the full 6 months temporary contract

I am recruiting for a highly dynamic organisation who are now looking for a new Maintenance Engineer to join their team.


Assisting in the inspection, maintenance and repair of machinery and facilities.


• Perform preventative maintenance routines and condition monitoring of production machinery and facilities.
• Liaise closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and operations staff in all aspects to ensure efficient, effective and planned reactive maintenance at all times.
• Make safety inspections of tools and equipment.
• Diagnose faults and repair machines
• Anticipate machine failures and make such changes or recommendations to prevent re-occurrence and to minimise downtime.
• Work to improve reliability and productivity of equipment.
• Complete written records of all maintenance activities.
• Carry out maintenance tasks diligently and in good time using appropriate methodology.

Skills & Experience

• Good mechanical and electrical skills. You will need Pneumatic and Hydraulic knowledge, along with PLC, inverter, instrumentation and control experience. Knowledge of various mechanical drive arrangements, including simplex, duplex, chain, belt, gearboxes and transmission equipment is required. You must hold a valid UK driving license and have experience in a heavy industrial environment. A forklift and MEWP licence would be desirable but not essential.
• You must have experience working in a fast moving operational environment, working under pressure and your own initiative whilst also being an integral part of an effective team.
• Basic numeracy, literacy and computer skills are required, along with good written and verbal communications.
