The role requires an individual with a strong administration background and excellent IT skills, in particular Microsoft Excel, training will be provided for the more technical aspects of the role.

Main responsibilities include:

Department.

Your main duties will be to maintain the quality standards, approving
in-coming materials, in-process production, finished products and
recording quality results.

You will approve incoming materials by confirming specifications;
conducting visual inspection and measurement tests; rejecting and
returning unacceptable materials.

In addition you will approve in-process production first off
activities by confirming specifications; conducting visual and
measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production
supervisor/operator.

This will include conducting visual and automated inspection
activities on part finished and finished goods.

You will also select output samples and check the samples using
appropriate methods.

Approving finished products you will confirm compliance to

Once complete you will confirm the re-works meet required standards.

You will document inspection results, producing reports and logs;
summarising re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.

It is expected that you will keep yourself, and the company up to date

In addition you will work within our analysis suite preparing media and samples, and conducting microbiological tests on raw materials and product samples and processing test results accurately.

Preferred Skills:

The candidate will have a proactive and enthusiastic approach to work, with high levels of attention to detail and good organisation skills.
