Due to growth of the business my Client, a prominent privately owned property business based in Cheshire, are seeking a Strategic Planner.
Ideally possessing experience spanning commercial and residential property, the ideal candidate will ensure the identification, negotiation and acquisition of interest in strategic land suitable for future development. You must have a PTR in both short realisation of land and the longer term strategic' land for 10-15 years.

You will be able to demonstrate an ability to identify areas of opportunity and have a broad based knowledge and understanding of the development plans system, and be able to:

• Establish priority areas for the purchase of land both short and long term with the Managing Director
• Develop and maintain regular contacts with land agents and other interested parties
• Evidence a deep understanding of Policy and the identification of both opportunities and constraints of future planning for areas within
Council's Local Plans
• Experience of the spatial/practical/policy aspects of planning and the various strands for the release of housing/employment land
• Engage with the HBF and other relevant organisations in respect of business-critical issues as appropriate.
• Monitor drops and windows of opportunities with regards to five year housing land supply
• Demonstrate evidence of compiling demographics and statistics to enable an objective assessment of geographical areas where there is most
growth, to include biggest OAN figures and areas with the most constraints
