Customer Sales & Support Advisor: The Role
To deliver great end to end service to our customers whilst meeting key quote/conversion targets in line with Company objectives
* Dealing with the end to end enquiry and quote process for new and existing customers within your region.
* Individual delivery in line with Company goals and key measures.
* Responsible for delivering excellent customer service in line with our SLA.
* Developing key accounts alongside Team Leader and BDM’s.
* Processing new and existing customer quotations.
* Converting and processing enquiries to orders.
* Working to agreed daily, weekly and monthly ways of working.
* Responsible for the set-up of new customer accounts & chasing accounts receivable.
* Processing remakes for your team region.
* Following the credit management process for customers in your region.
* First stage resolution of customer complaints.
* Following up with customers to rate service delivery.
Customer Sales & Support Advisor: The Person
* Ideally market knowledge of laser cutting process and principles.
* Ideally steel sector material knowledge and/or manufacturing principles.
* Ideally knowledge of CE marking and ISO standards.
* Knowledge of customer services best practice and tools and tactics.
* Experience of working in a sales and customer support environment.
* Experience of meeting processing targets and working to a service level agreement.
* Great customer service skills and experience.
* Experience of working in a process driven, fast paced environment.
* Strong literacy, IT and communication skills
* Sales coordination experience advantageous
* Ability to work under pressure and organise yourself to achieve team goals.
* Good attention to detail

As a successful, fast-paced multi-site manufacturing business with an ambitious growth strategy between now and 2025, we are now looking to add the our CAD CAM team.

CAD CAM Engineer: The Role

* Working within a dynamic team of CAD Engineers;

* You’ll be responsible for creating 2D/3D programs using AutoCAD, Artube 3, and bespoke CAD/CAM Software.

* Supporting the Company production process from quotation through to production

* Production of drawing files for flat & folded profiles in ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

* Liaising directly with customers to ensure their requirements are met from drawing through to production

* Supporting the sales team with technical queries and drawing related issues

* Progressing orders through our internal MRP software from quotation to production

CAD CAM Engineer: The Person

* How to read and interpret technical drawings and geometric tolerances and how they relate to the finished part.

* Working knowledge of AutoCAD

* Other CAD package knowledge would be advantageous

* Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages

* Engineering HNC/HND or equivalent experience beneficial

* 3D drawing experience beneficial

* Experience in sheet metal

* At least one year’s experience of CAD/CAM software in manufacturing

* Proven experience of reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings

* Ability to work at speed without compromising accuracy & detail

* A high level of mathematical skill

The Role

* You’ll be responsible for folding laser cut steel profiles as per detailed engineered drawings

* Operating an Amada press brake

* Required to set press up to suit material and bend required

* Ensure selection of correct material or laser profiles

* Count parts. Bag or stack for packing or subsequent operations

* Ensure quality checks are carried out and all folded parts are signed off

* Follow procedures and processes (including ISO 9001:2008)

* Record job time accurately

* Keep work area tidy and machine clean

* Tooling storage and management

* Assist internal sales in giving accurate quotations

* Assist other areas of the production facility when required

The Person

* Knowledge of how to read technical engineering drawings

* Knowledge of geometric tolerances and how they relate to the finished part

* Proven press brake setting experience

* Experience on Amada Press brakes would be beneficial

* Experience of folding metal profiles

* Counter-balance forklift license desirable, training can be provided

* Being knowledgeable – knowing your stuff, with an ongoing passion to learn and develop
