Role Summary:

The post holder will significantly contribute towards the success of the Allocate Insight service. The role will involve mining data from workforce systems and the Insight Portal as well as presenting the findings with clear narrative so that all stakeholder groups can benefit from the information. In addition, you will also support with customer engagement, helping collate customer feedback and documenting data exchanges. The position will involve working with the service managers, health-care professionals as well as Allocate Staff to support the delivery of the Insight Service.

Responsibilities:

* Manage preparatory work to ensure customers can on-board to the Insight Service in a timely and efficient way ensuring correct documentation is sent and processes are followed
* Work customer facing providing Allocate Insight Customers with a positive experience of working with the Insight Team
* Retrieve data from Allocate Systems and other sources as appropriate so that analysis of raw workforce data can be undertaken in order to support ad-hoc reporting requests from customers
* Support the Insight Team in identifying trends and correlations in the workforce data for the purpose of presenting data as information and insight as a key component of the Insight Service
* Support the creation of Baseline Insight reports to provide potential new customers with a snapshot of their workforce data and ensure these reports are delivered in a timely manner
* Ensure that all reports and documents are prepared professionally, in line with current Insight processes and consistent in both quality and branding
* Be accountable for contributing to regular verbal and written communications to ensure customers can interrogate their data within their monthly reports and monitor their progress against plans, tracking how the changes they make result in improvement
* Supporting any activity that contributes to the success of the proposition ensuring Insight customers can continuously improve and control the management of their biggest costs as a result of better understanding of their data
* Utilise Tools which will provide effective standardised support to customers to mobilise change as a result of their findings from the Insight Service
* Contribute to solving the challenges of data governance and work with the wider Insight team to mitigate these challenges in order to meet wider industry standards and expectations

Skills/Qualifications/Experience Required:

* Experience of working directly with customers including good interpersonal skills and an excellent telephone manner
* Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular with Excel
* Enjoys solving analytical problems and working with large data sets
* An appetite to promote continuous improvement
* Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
* Excellent organisational skills

Lead Reporting Analyst, Keele

SUMMARY:

The Lead Reporting Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate and effective reporting is delivered to the MSP programs. Develops reports / dashboards using Power BI and /or Excel according to requirements received by requestor. Creates and maintains detailed SOP’s for catalogue of managed reports. Will become knowledgeable and capable of building VMS/RMS/ATS reports based on requirements provided.

This role will also need to be a SME in various Business Intelligence tools used by the team. The Lead Reporting Analyst will be responsible for Program Team in managing the reporting catalogue and managing ad hoc requests for assigned clients. Additionally this role will partake in team training, mentoring and department initiatives, as well as represent the team on implementation calls and may be called upon to give presentations about products used by the team this role will have the lead reporting responsibility for a team of MI Analysts. Lastly, this role may be called upon to work on cross-client analytics and or provide cross-client data as requested.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Gathers reporting specifications (SOP’s) from the fellow team members. Ensures SOP’s are accurate and updated when needed. Responsible for running, verifying accuracy and distributing reports according to SOP’s.
* Builds reports within the VMS/RMS/ATS according to requirements from requestor.
* May leverage Business Intelligence or VMS/RMS/ATS tools to pull / extract data for various reporting requests.
* Reporting manager for the other Analysts in the team
* Works to meet or exceed service level agreements and optimise reporting processes by recommending improvements. Ensures and maintains compliance with company and department reporting and data policies and procedures.
* Utilises case management system to manage, monitor, and track all reporting requests from internal and external clients.
* Communicates reporting status and informs issues to appropriate stakeholders.
* Acts as mentor and or trainer to other team members
* Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
* Serves as a SME in all Business Intelligence tools used by team.
* Represents the team during implementation processes
* Conducts morning Team Meetings to discuss workload and challenges
* Drive account focus months and general strategy
* Help to motivate the Team

EDUCATION & JOB REQUIREMENTS:

* Excel use with proficiency in sorting and merging data sets, VLookup formulas, pivot tables and running macros
* Deep understanding of VMS/RMS/ATS tools.
* Deep understanding of Staffing industry.
* Deep understanding of Business Intelligence tools.

COMPETENCIES:

* Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
* Ability to maintain and meet deadlines on a regular basis
* Ability in presenting data and or tools to internal / external clients
* Proven ability to manage a team of at least 3 analysts.
