Development Engineer Role:

Reporting to the Test and Development Manager, the successful candidate will join a highly focused, passionate team, working on exciting new programmes to both maintain and further extend the Client's Backhoe Loader market penetration.

Main duties of Development Engineer include:

Test and development of new and current product designs.

Problem analysis and proposal of design solutions.

Compliance Engineer or Senior Compliance Engineer: Reporting into the Group Electrical / Electronic and Functional Safety Manager, you will join a highly focussed and passionate team leading the delivery of electrical / electronic engineering across the business.

The role is within the E+E Compliance team which has responsibility to ensure that all new Product programmes meet the required Functional safety technical deliverables by the associated gateways. Hence the role requires technical knowledge, hands-on experience, project delivery process understanding, and the ability to work with diverse teams to ensure delivery.

Senior Compliance Engineer Responsibilities:

· Group E+E Senior Compliance Engineer - reviewing Functional safety content of all NPIP (New Project Introduction Process) projects against the NPIP deliverables to ensure robust delivery.

· Will need to work closely with business units regarding Functional safety deliverables to support the TR (Technology readiness) process.

· Keep status trackers up to date, showing current status of all responsible projects.

· Work with, and coach, the engineering teams who are responsible for delivering the required project deliverables around the UK and globe.

· Facilitate the engineering teams to ensure efficient and robust delivery to complex Functional safety systems.

· Running workshops, reviews as required, driving projects forward and collecting the required evidence.

Senior Compliance Engineer Requirements:

Essential:

· Practical knowledge of functional safety systems and all associated terminology.

· Understanding of associated functional safety risk assessments.

· Experience of systems engineering and V model completion including:

o Requirements capture & generation

o Validation and verification activities

o External certification approvals

o Qualified to HND/degree level in a relevant technology discipline or equivalent experience.

o Ability to create and review associated FMEA / fault tree documents.

Desired:

About your role
