We are looking to recruit a passionate and pro-active 360 Recruitment Consultant for our client based near Gatwick. You will be working across the life science sector placing senior to executive level candidates into contract roles. The working environment is collaborative, supportive, fast paced and fun.

A background in life sciences is advantageous but not essential. A strong desire and passion for recruitment is a must. Responsibilities:

At each grade, team members are responsible for managing client relationships on a day to day basis, delivering tax reporting, compliance and advisory services both in the UK and internationally. Many clients have an international focus and require liaising with overseas BDO offices to deliver cross-border tax planning. You will also be involved in transactions, working alongside the corporate finance team on acquisitions, disposals and mergers.

Senior Manager & Manager – the focus of your role is on providing tax advice to clients with a small amount of time spent on reviewing UK corporate tax compliance. Advisory work will include but is not limited to: structuring, general tax advice and M&A activity. You will also take advantage of business development opportunities and will be fully supported in this.

Assistant Manager – you will be responsible for corporation tax compliance for your portfolio and will be involved in any UK or international tax advice which is required on your clients, assisting the Managers and Senior Managers in delivering this.

There will be significant opportunities to assist the Partners and current Directors in developing the team and delivering the exciting growth plans that the team has.

Person Requirements:

Senior Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Manager or an aspiring Senior Manager to make a mark in this entrepreneurial firm. Being qualified ACA/CTA (or equivalent) with extensive UK corporate tax experience, you will have the energy and enthusiasm to maintain existing strong client relationships whilst building new relationships. You will apply and develop your tax advisory skills by working on large transactions within the corporate tax market. Due to business growth, you will take a fundamental role in building a team to support yourself and the Directors/Partners.

Manager & Assistant Managers

At all levels you will apply your UK corporate tax experience within this team and take advantage of the training and support network that BDO offer, to develop your career. UK corporate tax compliance experience is essential and at Manager grade you will be able to demonstrate strong advisory skills.
