As the Supplier Quality Engineer you will work closely with the Procurement Team to improve supplier delivery times and quality performance whilst perusing efficiency saving activities throughout the supply chain. This will include offering support to key suppliers.

The successful candidate will be reliable and hardworking with an excellent eye for detail, good practical skills and the ability to follow instructions. You will have the ability to communicate effectively in English -both verbally and in writing and you will be numerate and physically fit.

Duties will include once trained : Fulfilment of customer orders which will include picking stock for each job sheet, printing products, packing and despatching, despatching orders online via an online courier system and liaison with courier companies.

Screen printing which will include preparing frames for printing, screen printing products using manual screens and heat tunnels, cleaning frames and assisting with making and exposing new frames. Digital printing which will include editing digital artwork files for printing and cutting on printer software, setting up jobs to print digital printer transfer printing machinery, preparing and weeding transfers for application and applying logos to products using a variety of heat processes. You will also be involved with warehouse work which will include unloading container deliveries of stock, operating a forklift truck (licence and training will be provided), stock rotation and maintenance of cleanliness and order within the warehouse and print areas. You will also be involved with digital artwork where you will use Adobe Illustrator to create vector artwork of logos for printing purposes.

This position could suit a reliable and motivated school or college leaver.

The role is full time and the working house are from 8am - 4pm with a 30 minute lunch break.
