A hugely successful leading supply chain and distribution business has an immediate opening for an experienced Fleet Compliance & Training Manager to join the team in Amesbury, Wiltshire on a full time permanent basis, working Mon to Fri days.

You will be responsible for managing the delivery and effectiveness of transport/driver training (including CPC), driver inductions and driving assessments to meet transport, customer and legal requirements, including operational, risk, security, and H&S obligations.

In addition, your duties will include compliance to all company equipment as per operators license, DVSA, legislation etc…. managing the complete maintenance programme for the fleet, trailers and MHE to minimise VOR time incorporating safety, health and environmental compliance, build strong relationships with fleet maintenance providers to ensure turn around time is kept to a minimum, manage recovery and repair as necessary, develop and maintain a system to carry out regular maintenance checks and inspections and fleet audits for vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness.
