We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeping Manager to join our client's expanding team.
Our ideal candidate will be fully AAT qualified from a practice accountancy background. We are asking for recent experience working at this level but you may be someone ready to step up into this role.
You will be responsible for managing all activities within the bookkeeping team.
Essential experience:
* Currently working as a Bookkeeping Manager/Supervisor
* AAT qualified (or overseas equivalent qualification will be considered)
* Recent experience and good understanding of VAT & CIS legislation
* Proficient in the use of Sage line 50, Xero, MS Office particularly Excel
* Willingness to travel and represent the company and be comfortable with client facing work

Brief Overview

To deliver products to customers within a specific area in a safe and friendly manner
Responsible for the care and upkeep of your designated vehicle

Core Duties

• The responsibility of preparing the vehicle by conducting operator maintenance, ensuring all products for a delivery are correct and that they have been loaded onto the vehicle correctly and safely.
• Responsible for completing delivery notes, return sheets and collecting payments.
• Execute any special requests from customers by picking up and delivering items as directed on the delivery note
• Maintain customer confidence by keeping information strictly confidential regarding premise security and operational information.
• Responsibility for the checking the run sheets, picked orders for your deliveries and routing.
• To plan your route and requirements for the drop by studying the schedule and any requests by the customer that are on the delivery note
• Make customers aware of any stock shortages or problems with their delivery.
• Responsible for returning all empty cases and gas bottles and that they are correctly stored in the empties yard and unloaded in the correct manner.
• Ensure that correct health and safety procedures are adhered to
• To complete all required checks and ensure that check sheets are passed to the distribution manager.
• The ability to help in the warehouse when required.

The Contract

You will be working with a well established National Contractor, Refurbishing Domestic Properties in the Wiltshire area.

Duties will include:

* 1st & 2nd Fix Carpentry
* 2nd Fix Plumbing
* Plastering
* Tiling
* Painting & Decorating

Please bare in mind, you will not be expected to carry out every trade, but it will be beneficial to turn your hand to as many trades as possible.

This is a 3 month temporary contract, which will lead to a Permanent Position for the ideal candidate.

You will be supplied a company vehicle with fuel expenses covered.

The company work 40 hours a week, 8:00 - 16:30, Monday to Friday.

The Candidate

Ideally you will have experience in Domestic Refurbishments, specifically Void Properties in the Social Housing market.
