Our client located near Pewsey, is currently seeking an experienced Technician/Warehouse Supervisor. The company are bespoke manufacturers and supply goods to many high-end retail outlets across the UK.

The main purpose of your role will be to support the two Managers in the running of the Production and Warehouse departments, carrying out the following duties:

· Machinery operating and maintenance

· Staff training and motivating

· Picking and packing of web orders

· Administration duties and data entry

· Stock rotation and management

· Adhering and upholding company standards and policies

· Quality monitoring and checking

· General housekeeping and safety checks

The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, be extremely driven and have strong experience working within a fast paced production environment. In addition, you will pay great attention to detail and lead in a positive and proactive manner, whilst working to tight deadlines alongside the team.

It would also be highly advantageous if you have knowledge of Health & Safety and BRC legislations or equivalent and hold a current Fork Lift licence. Due to the rural location, applicants with their own transport or means to get to this location easily, would be essential.

We are currently looking to recruit a number of people to join the Ministry of Defence as an Admin Officer in Upavon.

Working with a fun and lively team, you’ll be based in Pewsey, Wiltshere and you will enjoy a great atmosphere. Working a Monday to Friday working week you will enjoy a healthy work life balance too.

Working in a fast paced administration department, you’ll be providing admin and customer service support within a helpline service, if successful you will follow set procedures and will exercise some independent judgment in carrying out instructions, under general supervision. Examples of work performed will include but not be restricted to:

• Record incoming recorded delivery post
• Record new cases received on the judicial spread sheet
• Return acknowledgment slips
• Send new judicial case files to relevant court and recording on HQ MCS data base

• Stationary orders
• Move electronic case files on MOSS between courts
• Under direction/instruction copy requested paperwork in relation to CMAC requests
• Distribute and electronically file transcripts
• Under direction/instruction book ad-hoc VCR requests
• Archiving
• Under direction complete standard templated letters such as Service Custody form 1 and notification letter of custody
- Ad-hoc support to office mgt team as required, particularly in helping to ensure MCS is ready for migration to MODNE

A large charitable organisation are recruiting for Support Workers for their 3 - 18 bed residential cares home in Pewsey, Wiltshire. You will mainly be working with Adults who have Learning disabilities, nursing and some may display challenging behaviour.

Main Job Role:
- Support them with everyday duties i.e. cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping etc
- Manage them through their Support Plans (maintain good health and diet)
- Assist them with any activities or day centres they attend to
- Accompany them on the bank, appointments, health visits and in the community

Qualifying candidates:

Contract / terms:

- Working days are Monday to Sundays - 37 hours per week (7.5 hour shifts)

Capita has a 10 year contract with the MOD to provide an end to end recruitment solution for the British Army, from candidate attraction to preparation of candidates for Initial Army training. We are supporting Capita team to find clinical professionals to complete a telephone based assessment process with British Army candidates to assess their medical eligibility against recruitment standards. You could be a Registered Nurse, Paramedic, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Community Psychiatric Nurse. Training in understanding the medical standards that candidates are assessed against will be provided, but relevant experience in a similar area is a plus. Your five years of post-qualification experience will be used in an engaging role.

You will be

Undertaking telephone assessment based on a set of questions aimed at highlighting candidates (at the first stage of the medical screening process) that are ineligible to join the British Army, and those that may require further review at the next stage of their medical screening following the disclosures made during the teleassessment. Your medical knowledge will produce reliable and accurate reports supporting the decision making process for senior colleagues. A warm approach is needed whilst guiding candidates through questions which will determine any underlying conditions, and you will be able to refer cases to Capita Doctors, where additional clinical judgement is required.
