If you live in and around East Woodhay, Burghclere, Highclere, St Mary Bourne, Kingsclere or Sherbourne St John, you will now come under the new Rural West Neighbourhood area, the team comprises of 2 Sgts based at Tadley with 3 PCSOs and 2 PCs. The PCSOs will deal with local issues and engagements supported by the PCs who will address criminality and safeguarding the vulnerable. The West area and South area have a similar set up which means that when resources are required they can be moved around to support a policing need.
First point of contact for local issues should be through the PCSO team, PCSO John Dullingham for Burghclere highclere and East woodhay, PCSO Emma Page Kingsclere and surrounding and PCSO Matt Woods for Sherbourne St John and surrounding, but feel free if you have any questions about the team or a particular problem to contact me via email - Basingstoke.Rural.Police@hampshire.pnn.police.uk or via the 101 system and I will get back to you.
