A well known Multi-Disciplinary deign consultancy are looking to recruit an experienced Design Engineer for their busy office in Eastleigh. You will be tasked with attending meeting on site, overviewing designs for the company and working with the design team to gain the best outcome.

Role:
• Regular attendance to project team meetings
• Regular attendance to site to solve design issues on the ground and to review best practices for the company
• Provide engineering input to the land/commercial teams at site viability stage to allow costing of abnormal engineering requirements. This will include attendance of internal meetings, appointment of consultants or production of high level engineering designs in-house.
• Design of S38/S104 road and sewer schemes and submissions for technical approvals with adopting authorities
• Use of Civil 3d and Microdrainage software packages to produce designs
• Procuring and managing all road safety audits required for a scheme, up tot RSA 4/5 once a scheme is complete and ready to move onto adoption
• Produce site earthworks calculations, drawings and specification to suit evolving company requirements.
• Use of AutoCAD software to prepare engineering drawings and produce vehicle tracking
• Produce External works and Building drainage designs for schemes
• Production of company standard specifications, drawings and procedures to ensure that the brand standard and customer satisfaction are upheld, ensure that pricing is consistent for all tenders, compliance with NHBC/Building reg. requirements and that we are specifying the correct materials/processes for both value and efficiency.
• Produce company standard details as required
• Produce composite services drawings and proposed service duct layouts
• Procuring street lighting designs to suit the scheme requirements and relevant local authority
